Over 20 years of experience in software development and management of start-up companies; inventor and instigator of the database technology. Founder and CEO of ORI Software; co-founder and CTO of RightOrder Inc. Law degree (LLB) from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Mike Hogan - Chief Operating Officer (COO)
CEO ZiXXo Inc., a Web 2.0 coupon creation/management/syndication network. Previously, Mike was VP Field Operations United States/Asia Pacific for Poet Software a leading object-oriented database (ODBMS) company. Mike was part of the management team at Poet that took the company from venture funding to IPO (later acquired). Mike was also a leader in the emergence of XML and XML-based data management. He wrote the seminal white paper on XML and its storage requirements in 1997 (before it was a standard).

Vern Watts - Chief Architect
Vern was the Chief Architect of IBM's IMS. Vern worked on IMS from 1968 until 2004 when he retired from IBM as a Distinguished Engineer Emeritus. Currently (in addition to his role in ScaleDB) Vern works as an advisor to the IMS development. Dr. Ron Hu - VP of Engineering
Over 20 years of progressively responsible R&D and management experience in relational database server development, parallel architecture, web-based multi-tier applications, Data Warehouse, OLAP, and benchmarking. Previously VP of Technology at MetaEdge Corporation, VP of Engineering at Octasoft Corporation. Developed database engine for both Teradata and Sybase for 14 years. Was one of the early database engineers at Teradata.

Rick Bergquist - Advisor
Rick was Chief Technology Officer of PeopleSoft where he was responsible for product vision and direction of PeopleSoft's ERP applications. Rick was one of three primary developers who created the PeopleTools Integrated Development Environment in which all PeopleSoft applications were developed. PeopleTools ran the PeopleSoft applications on six of the leading SQL databases and made full use of the relational model. Rick knows how application systems can leverage SQL databases, and what facilities SQL systems can provide to make application development faster and more efficient. As a founding father of one of the most successful software companies in the world, Mr. Bergquist brings an advanced understanding of the power of applied technology and the business benefits it can bring. Mr. Bergquist holds a B.S. in Computer Science (with Honors) from California Polytechnic State University and completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
